Netflix publishes "Views" — but that's a calculated metric (Hours Viewed ÷ Runtime). We cut through the noise and rank content by actual hours watched, giving you an unfiltered view of global streaming popularity.

Data Limitations & Transparency
We believe in transparency. Here are the known limitations of our data:
Netflix Only
We only track Netflix data. Disney+, Amazon Prime, Apple TV+ etc. are not included.
Netflix Self-Reported Data
Hours viewed data comes directly from Netflix. We cannot independently verify these numbers.
Top 10 Only
Netflix only publishes Top 10 per category. Content ranked #11 or below is not tracked.
IMDB Rating Coverage
Not all titles have IMDB ratings. Some obscure or very new content may lack ratings data.
Country Classification
Origin country is determined by production info. Co-productions may be classified under one country.
Series Seasons Counted Separately
Different seasons of the same show (e.g., Squid Game S1, S2) are tracked as separate entries, though we de-duplicate in some statistics using IMDB ID.
